We know at least two things; (1) you are currently reading this blog and thus (2) you have too much time on your hands. And idle hands kill kittens or whatever. And while we’re on the subject of 2, here are two hyperlinks that together form the Song Of The Day. Don’t ask me how.
I love Thieves Like Us, Japan scares me and japaneseJ.U.N.-80KIDZ-cinq-etoiles‘ remix of “Drugs In My Body” is lovely scary.
The Medalist have uploaded a couple of new tracks. It’s my birthday.
Most compact blog post ever: Stratego, Swedish house, shamelessly funky, serious Moog-lead. My mind could do with a dub on this one but my feet just don’t care.
Was I First on this one? Yes. I was First on this one.
Knowing Some Waves (or Gustav, as he is sometimes known) I’m not at all surprised at all surprised by the title of today’s SoTD. “Patience, Patience” is a good summary of the general pace of his home town of Kalix. It could well be the city’s motto.
It’s surprising that Some Waves hasn’t been discovered/signed yet. Probably it’s due to his abysmal self promotion. 1569 plays? The music deserves that amount per day.
Enough said. Make with the mp3-link. (Hosted by Musiclood.)
I’ll toss you another one of those since I’m totally swamped in work right now. No time to churn out longer paragraphs of general uninterest, in other words.
This is another one of those “I wish I was a DJ”-tracks.
It could be that I’ve had an excellent amount of sleep the last 24 hours but I’m in an unusually energetic mood for 22.22 on a Sunday night. And nostalgic. Whatever it is, this old school baby has been on pretty much repeat the whole day. I can’t fight it any more so I’m making it song of the day. That doesn’t really mean anything except I can create a new category on the blog. Wicked.
I haven’t actually tried it to play it backwards. Anyone care to give it a try and see what comes out? I’ll be hiding under my covers meanwhile.
